1066 and all that

For the Norman victory of 1066 at the battle of Hastings as shown on the new animated Bayeux tapestry, with a soundtrack ripped off from 'Gladiator,' 'Carmina Burana' and other sources, click here. Not quite as funny as Viking Kitties, but still worth watching.

The beginning was pretty good I though, but it seemed to lose heart in the middle (the brand name for the castle was a bit silly). There was quite a lot of attention to detail, such as the shimmering of the boats' reflection in the water.

Yes, it does lag a bit, but is still great. If I did it it would have pieces of Norman-French and Saxon dialogue!

And yes, show it to your Vikings class Maire. Along with the attack of the Viking Kitties, still my favorite historical reconstruction.
