What professors really think
Well, some of us at least. I don't agree with everything in this farewell letter by a disillusioned academic, but I also wouldn't say any of the observations he makes are untrue. Anyway, see what you think.

Ouch! Much of it hits close to home, doesn't it? I'm not quite sure why NPR is anti-intellectual, and at least I have the pleasure of many good colleagues who still love intellectual pursuits. But much of the rest is uncomfortably familiar.
Wow... I'm sure ASU has the same things going on...actually I'm positive of it!
