The Destruction of a Galaxy

What you are looking at is a jet from a black hole touching the edge of a galaxy a bit less than a million years ago.

A galaxy. Home to millions of planets that might have earth like conditions and, perhaps, earth like sentient creatures.

Wonder what they worshiped as they underwent this destruction?

I wondered that, too.

Did you change your post, or did I hallucinate the phrase "what gods they pray to"? (or something like that)

To quote Garrison Keillor parodying grumpy old Minnesotans:

"Those people never shoulda been there in the first place!"

But yeah, it is a deep challenge for any theodicy.

Well, I can understand grumpy old Minnesotans. I was on my way to becoming one of them.

Jack - I think you are hullucinating. Probably too much math. Go read some good history, take a shot of good brandy, and you will be over it.

Although the idea of aliens and God is an endlessly fascintating mind trip. Would they have souls? Would they have sin? Or even the concept? Could they, or perhaps should they, be 'saved'? Endless.
