I guess I didn't think it was that bad. Really, that many from the Deep South are unsure about interracial marriage in this day and age? Wow.
I would like to see two things.
1.) This poll posed the the population outside of the "Deep South" to establish a baseline.
2.) This poll conducted among Democrats in the Deep South.
As someone firmly in the "you-got-to-be-kidding-of-course-that-should-be-legal-why-is-this-question-asked" camp, I think many people tend to conflate "What I think I should do with my life" with "What the government should be able to do with you and your life".
